Common Questions
Everything You Need to Know About Brain Matters Here.
A psychoeducational evaluation focuses on identifying academic challenges and learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and ADHD. It typically includes cognitive testing, academic achievement, and behavioral screening.
A school neuropsychological evaluation goes deeper by examining how brain function impacts learning, behavior, and emotional development. It includes an in-depth analysis of memory, processing speed, executive functioning, attention, and more. At Brain Matters, we help you choose the right assessment based on your child’s needs.
We provide educational evaluations and consultations to individuals from birth through age 22, young adults (18–25), and adults (25+) for educational-related purposes.
Our evaluations are designed to inform Individualized Education Plans (IEP), 504 plan teams, and families about supports, recommendations, and interventions on how to best support the child.
